The Beat Goes On: A Bach Society Fundraiser
Larry Vuckovich has gathered over a dozen seasoned veterans and new faces on the jazz scene who will perform an extended program of Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker, Horace Silver, John Coltrane's music, some Afro-Cuban jazz, and Mexican boleros.
Larry Vuckovich All-Star International Ensemble: LARRY VUCKOVICH - piano; ILYA LUSHTAK - guitar; ROB ROTH - tenor; NOEL JEWKES tenor, JEFF CHAMBERS - bass; LORCA HART - drums.
Al Molina Horace Silver Project: AL MOLINA - trumpet, ROB ROTH - tenor, AL BENT - trombone, JEFF CHAMBERS - bass, LARRY CHINN - piano, BRYAN BOWMAN - drums
Vocalists JACKIE RYAN and Jeff Oster will also join the celebration, as well as Grammy nominated percussionist JOHN SANTOS.
This will be a swinging thank you bash with an international flavor introducing the Russian-born/American bebop guitarist Ilya Lushtak.
